Want to have a spot to list the 2024 Stovebolt calendars as they are done. HERE IS the original post about looking for images and we received quite a few. We had one theme going but switched gears to start with a fairly easy one that was *requested* sorta.
That was the ODSS's remembrance of the Run to Devil's Backbone, 10 years ago (2013). In their discussion, Cosmo *wondered* about re-printing the calendar that John made up after that event. So we *made it so* and an even one better.
This was a fun one to get back in that calendar groove. The first batch ordered have been spoken for so we ordered a second batch today to keep up with the demand.

Continued from above (last of them and a few *extra* images for ODSS ).

John, these are not in the Hoo-ya Shoppe. Cafe Press no longer does calendars. We searched for another vendor. Tried a few of them ... and we settled for one. The 2023 calendars turned out good. This ODSS calendar mentioned here was a test for 2024 (and a *remembering experience ). Today, AAMOF, I'm finishing up an IRWIPI calendar (second test). Then I'll start calendars for the ones that had been submitted this year and last.
We will post in the News Corner, and here in N&As once we get these two (ODSS and IRWIPI) done and printed. Then we'll make that square in the left column like we've done in the past.
The nice thing with this vendor, we can start at whatever month we want. So come, March, if folks are still wanting calendars, we *reset* to have them start in April. Too bad it's not an automatic thing but ...
We JUST turned our 2023 calendar to December and it's fun to have Stovebolt Santa on the wall.

Second 2024 Stovebolt Calendar is ready. Some folks call this kind of calendar: "Abandoned Trucks" but we call it: "It Ran When I Parked It." If you're unfamiliar with the IRWIPI Contest, HERE IS this history of it. The contest lasted for nine years and it was a lot of fun.
So, as our second test calendar, it's settled: we're ready to go full-on for the next one!
It's another 13 months of images which is great to have some carryover like that. Here is what the pages look like.

The last image is Builder's license plate that he had made up for his "ErrWhippe" Truck. Just needed to include it here.

Finished downloading all the images that were sent for the calendars so far, (over 50) and a few I snagged when roaming the garage. More than enough for the first General Truck calendar. Some outstanding shots. If you are wondering about more submissions: yes! Send them. We gather them up all year long.
The "theme" calendars will take a little more work but they are always fun and we definitely want to do them. Would like to get a 2024 Panels & Burbs. We have several of them in that "50."

The IRWIPI 2024 Calendars came in today. We only ordered five for the *guess and check* and they are good. One went out today; second goes out tomorrow.
I think the next theme will actually be General One since we have some really nice pictures that are ready to go. (Just need to limit it to 13! ) The next calendar will start with the month of February just to take advantage of the 13 months. Once, we have that one laid out, we'll post the calendar pages here.
If anyone else wants an It Ran calendar, just let us know. If more than three request a calendar, it's easy for us to order more.

Got my calendars in the mail today, but keeping up with granddaughter Emma most of the day kept me from opening and checking them out before tonight. They look fantastic and will be hanging up before the day ends. My "dues" will be in the mail tomorrow.
