The lift arms were in the way of setting it on the dolly as designed so I had to turn the dolly 90 degrees. Not being satisfied, I lifted the bed from ABOVE using heavy duty ratchet straps and turned the dolly under the bed the way I had intended. So now it’s oriented correctly for easier movement in the shop when supported over the frame.

I was planning on using an engine lift to remove the bed, raising the lower cross bar so the lifts legs could slide under.

I did the same, but out of steel, when I was doing paint and body on my dually bed. Mostly a quickie weld up job out of scrap.
