I took the 216 to a machinist to drill and tap for reconditioned dampener. Now taking 216 back to mechanic to be installed soon. I noticed a manifold pin was missing. Trying to find out size of alignment pin. Thanks, lynn
The pins for the manifold are 3/8" nominal diameter. The thread pitch is likely US coarse or 16 TPI. You'd have to meaasure the depth of the tapped hole in the head and likely trim the studs you can find at the auto parts store. The exposed portion in unthreaded and the length so that it sticks out of the installed manifold by about 1/8 inch. The parts manual says the length is 1-3/4 inch.
