Anyone parting out or has a head available, I would love to hear from you. I am located in the Cincinnati, Oh. area. | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 2 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 2 | I seem to recall hearing somewhere that a 235 head would fit a 261, the only difference being the small coolant circulation holes between the chambers needed to be drilled on the 235 head to match up with the holes between the cylinders in the 261 block. I can't verify - maybe some of the other Bolters can. Good luck! | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 355 Member | Member Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 355 | Poppa bear has it right you can use a 235 head on the 261 with the holes matching you head gasket. | | |
