My 19t3 GMC torque tube is leaking transmission fluid. Has anyone installed a torque tube seal kit for a 3 peed manual transmission? Any tips are welcome

Here is the paragraph from the 54 shop manual.
The note at the bottom just says to add or remove gasket shims to get a snug, not tight, fit.
The ball has to be able to flex.

Ask more questions as needed.
