Ok, It may seem a little early to some but I thought I would start sharing info about Cruisin the Coast 2023. I will be traveling a lot thru the summer and I will just have to post when I can. I am attaching a screen shot below of the main Cruisin site and also a direct link to the website (the page that has this years raffle car, 1937 ford coup). Personally I like trucks but this IS a good looking car if I must say so.
The cost to register is up to $75 from $60. Like everything else in the world I guess. The way I look at it is any car show or event you go to now for one day will cost $20-$25. Here you are getting 7 days They give you a tee shirt, 2 tickets for the Swap Meet ($10 each)and some other freebies with the registration. You can find the registration on the site under "about Cruisin" then "registration" Doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. Here is the direct link to the raffle vehicle page. If you do come down and want to purchase, tickets are $10 ea or (3) for 25.raffle car link to site too Take a look at the photo gallery pages on the website from each day last year if you get a chance. 20 or 30 pictures from each day. Also go to last years Cruisin that is on page 2, the link for it is below. There are tons of pictures and video there. I plan to try to get more truck pictures this year myself but will still post other video I find like last year. Come on down October 1st thru the 8th and enjoy the sunshine. It would be a good place to meet up and we will talk about that more later. More info to follow, but feel free to ask any questions.
Great, I think mine is 2595. We need to get a chance to talk more than just passing down the street. 🤣 I saw a good looking 59 same color as yours at a small show at Edgewater mall. I posted a picture of it in the “southern bolters out and about”where I am trying to put pictures of trucks I see around. Unfortunately I have been gone a lot and haven’t had many chances.
Here are the future Cruisin the Coast dates for 2024 and 2025. 2026 will be a 30th Anniversary year. Hard to believe it has been going on that long. Man, I’m getting old. 😂🤣😂🤣

Just got my 8 page newsletter in the mail, a detailed letter from the director with a little general info and some of the additions to Cruisin this year including some of the celebrities that will be here. The schedule showing info about registration and dates for pick up your packet. I will be posting as many truck pictures as I can this year while it is happening. Then I will post other pictures/videos since that seemed to go over well last year. I really like seeing other truck to get ideas and DREAM!!
Took some time to check out all my fluids and the air in the tires to make sure we were ready. Probably will add several hundred miles that week and don't want to have to stop. If anyone is coming this way let me know so we can meet up somewhere.
Ok so today Cruisin kicked off with thousands of vehicles in Gulfport Ms. The first picture I am including is a panoramic so zoom in very close then scroll across. It’s a nice almost 360 degree view of one street corner. Not sure what the meaning of the red danger tape around the light blue 57. (I think) in the second picture. I saw a lot of square body trucks with camper shells on the back, what’s with that? I guess trying to mimic the racing “farm truck”. More 🛻 to come.
Love the Panoramic view, was the '58 parked in a restricted area???

This is the local news site and allows people to post their Cruisin photos. It should grow over time and I’m not sure I posted this link last year. I will be adding photos of trucks.
Some more pictures I took. I have to go pick up my Cruisin packet today so I will get some video and pictures. I will try another panoramic view with more detail.
Ok I did a couple more panoramic pictures in the midsts of the activity. The file is 30mb. I had to make them smaller. Hope the didn’t loose clarity. The last truck picture is a nice truck on top of a GMC.
This is a pretty neat board showing all the states etc. that cars have come from to attend. 2 from Alaska, one from England and 5 from Canada. The total as of yesterday morning was 9014. I saw a post last night that said it was up to 9300 already. 2022 total was 9616. Zoom in to find your state!!
Somebody let me know how the panoramic looked once you zoomed in? I had to reduce the file size and think it’s not clear as it’s supposed to be. More pictures …
The panoramic shots were neat and they are clear enough with one zoom in. I think they are good at capturing the scope of the event. Having the indivudal shots those give all the details.
I especially liked THIS SHOT showing the map of where folks are coming from. Over 9,000 entrants is astounding. Hope some Bolters will chime in and maybe even catch up with you. (BTW, do you have flyers? )
Thanks for taking all these pictures and posting them. Next, we'll have to get you to do some "on the scene" cub-reporting. We'll have to get you a Press Badge and a hat.

Peggy, yes those panoramic are not clear. The ones that I started with are 30MB each but would not upload. If I email to you could you replace? Drove most of the day to get my card stamped at 5 different coastal cities. Once I turn it in, gets me 40 chances to win $500. I am going to get another picture of the map probably Saturday. That will be close to the total to this event. I have seen a blue Stovebolt flag, Is that something I can buy to display at events. I have some flyers just need to print some out. Here are few pictures from inside my truck in Ocean Springs and Bay St Louis. It’s hard to take pictures and shift at the same time!😂🤣😂🤣
