| | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 28 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 28 | i finally did it after a few older cars i bought my first truck a 54 chevy duallie 1 ton or ton and half im not sure so im hoping someone can help me the guy i got it from was told the grill didnt belong on this truck nor does the hood we measured the wheelbase and its 138 from center to center i just dont know if someone was feeding him some line of bad info this truck is also sitting on 19.5 tires i tried running the vin and all i get is 54 truck made in stlouis the vin is f54s0322557 if you can help that would be great

If you have 5 and 10 lug wheels it is a model 4100 1.5 ton. If they are 8 lug it is a 1 ton.
What do you have?

The 'F' doesn't match any models that I can identify and the serialization may have too many characters. Is that number on the serial number plate in the driver's door opening?

the plate is missing from the cab all i have is what on the title
