Probably have to use what you can find, I suspect it used a regular one like a dump bed.

I think it was a model 41. Looked at it not long ago. Most of them are the single speed Brown-Lipe PTO's. Spankey the ford has a square hole in the side of trans and a torch cut pto shaft ,no clues there.I am pretty familiar with newer pto's and just wanted to get output speed in the right range. Maybe there wasn't that many choices on output speed? THANKS :hammering:

| | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 226 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 226 | depending on the winch, it might require a forward and reverse pto... as for speed they are pretty standard unless you do get a two speed, that usually has two speeds one direction, and one speed the other direction, these were used on alot of winches too....it all depends on the winch type.
