September 30 Cruisin Southern MD for Veterans Charlotte Hall MD (Benefits the Maryland Veteran’s Home) HERE IS the website for Crusin' SOMD for Veterans. 11th year! It's a 100+ cruise. The Veterans Home is such a great place to end up. So many of the Vets come out and meet up with us and enjoy the vehicles. If any of yous guys get more details ... like where to muster, what time. Will there be a "shortie" cruise? Any after event get together? Thanks. Peg

Are we all doing the veterans' cruise next Sunday? I'm out this year, it conflicts with my two year old grandson's birthday party. I believe John V is going, give him a call... Pretty much, yes. There are a number of stops throughout the cruise with events at each stop. They give participants a reasonable amount of time to travel between stops, but it's not a big window.
The year I drove the M-817 (which could do 50-55 mph), I was usually pulling into each stop as they were wrapping up and everyone was getting ready to head out to the next one.
r, John

Ok, faster is better. | | |
