Does anyone know how much the 3 speed transmission from my 1952 Chevy 3100 weighs? I’m trying to figure out how much it costs to have one shipped.
Thanks.

BillyDon,

Since you are asking a transmission (Driveline) related question, your post has been moved to the Driveline forum for further conversation.

FWIW, I think you are looking at the 50-55 lb range, but has been a good while since I handled one of the 3 speeds so don't quote me on that. grin

Thanks.
I recently got one from Kades51 and Dans reply of 50-55 is about right.

Please don't tell my wife how much this thing cost!

Standing on an accurate bathroom scale while holding the transmission adds 60 pounds to my weight. You should add another 10 pounds or so for a plywood crate that UPS will have trouble destroying in transit! Sorry about the delay in getting the info to you- - - -I've been out of town for several days!
