New to the forum, never been on one before. I have a 1964 C10 getting rebuilt shortly. Long story short, I was rear ended pretty badly a couple months ago. I'm fine, my truck is a different story. It's currently a step side, I want to change it to fleetside for a different look. Having trouble locating a box. Is LMC the best choice or there is a place close enough to me I can order parts from. Located in Ontario Canada. Would appreciate any advice on what direction to take. I think finding parts from originals is a little difficult around here.

Mar-K could help you out with stepside, but unfortunately don't have the outer panels for fleetside trucks.

As you are mighty close to New York state, you may have better luck than you think in trying to locate a fleetside bed. You just have to deal with the cross border purchase requirements, but maybe worth the effort and cheaper than trying to import from afar??? Take a look at Craigslist, FB Marketplace and maybe even Kijiji and you might be pleasantly surprised. You could also place an ad here in our own Truck Parts Wanted section of the Stovebolt Swap MeetLooking forward to more conversations in the forums! Dan

Jim Carter Truck Parts, Aspen Auto parts, 4, 5,6 chevy truck parts and LMC are all pretty good for used parts, except LMC (mainly only new). All these are located in KS or MO, except for aspen.
FB marketplace is great for local parts near you, i've found many parts that way.

If not someone posted a while back about a place that makes a complete cab for these trucks. I bet them make bed parts too. | | | | Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 240 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 240 | Don't overlook trailers made from these beds, the old truck konked out and they just cut the frame, bent it together and make a trailer out of it, I have purchased several and usually in decent shape except for the wood

They are close, but if you want it to fit perfectly some massaging will be required᠁ ie metal work.
Don’t paint it before you do᠁. You might be very sorry otherwise. | | | | Joined: Jul 2022 Posts: 90 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2022 Posts: 90 | I just bought a bunch of stuff from autometaldirect. The shipping was about $1000 less than anywhere else. Got full bedsides, wheel tubs, rear window and some others. Should be here monday so ill see how it looks.
