I purchased glass from Auto Metal Direct and have been spending hours wracking my brain trying to figure out how to get it set in. Finally, I am beginning to think it was not cut to the correct size. The bottom edge set in tight and secure. From the pictures, it seems the top edge is too high. You can see on the side that there is clearance enough to fit the weatherstripping.
Has anyone else used AMD with good results? Any other supplier?

Do you have the old windshield so you can compare it?
Are you trying to install the windshield after installing the weatherstripping on the cab?
I put the windshield on a couple of sawhorses that were covered with a blanket. The weatherstripping was installed on the glass and the temporary pull cord installed before trying to fit it to the cab.
Unfortunately, the old glass went to the garbage. I believe it was the laminated type whereas the new is a single tempered piece. I did attempt to install with the weatherstrip on the glass but without the pull cord just to see the fitting. My next idea to check the glass size, is to tape up the weatherstrip by itself and get a wooden rod cut to fit tightly from the bottom where the glass sits to vertically up into the top glass weatherstrip groove. Then I can place the wooden rod on the glass to see if the lengths are equal...I think the rod will be shorter.
