Greetings, I won’t be able to retrieve my 66 c10 until later in the month, but would like to preorder a rebuild kit for the carb as (because we are crazy) I want to spend a few hours getting it running when I am there᠁.hasn’t run for 10+ years᠁stock 250 Can you help me id which carb this is? Thanks!
That looks like a late model Rochester B. The tag that's barely visible under all the crud, under one of the bowl cover screws will have a number on it that will identify exactly what the carb is, including its original application. Copy the number down and take it to any competent auto parts professional- - -preferably one who is gray haired or bald, who actually remembers what a carburetor is. He will be able to order the correct repair kit. You're in luck- - - -most of the time those tags have disappeared about the time Noah strolled off the ark! Jerry
