Thought I posted pics of this stand I made years ago back when I wanted to work on my SM420, but can't find any records of such. So, here we go........ While going thru the various boxes of truck parts, I found this stand that I produced back in 2012 which while I had my gearbox out of the truck, I wanted to work on it but did not like the way it sat on my work bench, so somehow I came up with first the front support bar but then didn't like the downward angle towards the back and saw the drain plug looking for some attention, so I added the rear support. So some winter while you're kinda bored.......

Is that T leg threaded into a hole on the transmission?

Is that T leg threaded into a hole on the transmission?
I think the drain plug is 1/2" NPT.
'57 GMC 102, Original 347 V8, HydraMatic, 3.08 rear gear, added A/C, disk front brakes, HEI, AFB carb, '98 Honda Black Currant paint. T-boned and totaled 10/12 '52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.
Ok. I didn't quite understand what he meant. That's pretty good.

Yes the T leg threads into the drain hole. It isn't as important as the front support. Just another toy
