Got the heater installed and tested it today. Immediately blew the 30 amp fuse.

I hooked up the yellow and black wires to the heater switch.
I also have red and green that are capped off.

Anyone have any insight on how these should be hooked up.

The black is probably the ground wire.

The motor on my heater only has two wires. Is your motor multi-speed?
Like George said, Black is probably ground. As far as the others, who knows without some information about the motor. Is there a nameplate on it?
