I found a set of 6, 19.5" x 6.5" drop center wheels. I am familiar with split rims but tires are costly and hard to find in 20". I really wanted to run radials as well.
The wheels were listed on Ebay about 2 hours from the house. I contacted the seller and made a Drug Deal for local pick up. This saved me half again as much as I paid For the wheels and the seller the chore of boxing and Shipping.
The wheels are from a '98 Chevy 3500HD. The bolt pattern are center hole are spot on. I have 2 that are bare and 4 that have decent tires on them. The 4 mounted will work great for the rear and get me by for awhile.

Mike B, I had thought about that as well. The plan is to swap the rear end out at some point with a higher ratio, maybe 4.11. The up side for now will be that my 4 ft 9 in tall wife won't need climb as high to get in.

If you have the stock single speed rear it will have 6.17 gears. If you go up to 4.11 gears with a modern rear you won't have enough engine power to move the truck up a slight grade without downshifting a gear or two and then you'll top the grade out doing 20 mph. The 4.11 rear will need a much bigger engine to go with it.

I have no immediate plans to change much about the Truck, the tires were a must. Brake work is in progress then I will assess what needs to be priority. Gearing is on the list but needs some serious research.

‘60’s GM 22.5” wheels come with 10 on 8.75” bolt pattern. There is enough meat on the center to redrill to 10 on 7.25” bolt pattern, need to make hub spacer, torque ring, too. Left hand wheel in picture. Proper tools must be used.

I have the 19.5's mounted. The new tires and wheels are about 4 inches shorter than the originals. I like the look, it's amazing what some elbow grease and a rattle can can do.
