I don’t know if anyone remembers but when I first got the engine running I had a klackity klack noise. Thought it was a stuck valve or something. Put some MM oil in the cylinders in case it was a ring maybe.
Well today I pulled it out of the garage for the first time to move it and to pressure wash all the built up crud underneath it. I happened to notice the wiper base was rotating. It was the darn windshield wiper making the noise. Turned the knob until it went off and goodbye klackity klack.
I thought this might amuse some of you that had similar experiences. I laughed a bit. Something so simple had me worried for weeks.
