Hopefully this is the correct forum. Hoping one of you can help me identify the correct wiper arm for the pictured studs. Or maybe identify if I’m missing a part or parts and that’s why I’m not having any luck? I’ve searched all over the place and can’t find a wiper arm that would connect directly to the piece pictured.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Truck is a bit of a Frankenstein. It’s a 1941 1/2 ton pickup (including the cab) with a 1939 front end.
Chevs of the 40s lists these wiper arms for 39-46 trucks.
'57 GMC 102, Original 347 V8, HydraMatic, 3.08 rear gear, added A/C, disk front brakes, HEI, AFB carb, '98 Honda Black Currant paint. T-boned and totaled 10/12 '52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.
A quick look at your pictures shows the wiper shaft might (?) not be original to your '41 truck. They should have a whole that passes through the shaft where the original style arms connect and get retained (see picture below). Check out the pictures that are part of the vendor ad for 1939-46 Truck Wiper Arm details. The 4th picture shows a detailed breakdown of how the arm gets mounted to the shaft, which may help you out.
If it turns out that yours aren't correct, you will need to try and locate replacements to get your wipers back to what the were originally.

I used older Jeep wipers on mine. The wiper arm fits over the shaft and has a small bolt that clamps it in place. The wiper arm and blade is a good fit for the windshield also.
Just a follow up reply after a conversation with another Bolter yesterday.
Are the wiper motors you have by chance electric??? If you could remove the inside of cab access covers and take/post pictures it would help identify what you actually have and possibly point to a vendor or source for wiper arms.
Original wiper motor was a vacuum operated unit, so it appears a previous owner may have changed to some sort of any electrical unit.
Looking forward to more info so we can try and help you resolve your dilemma.

Read this thread a couple days ago and went to check my 41. Found they are Mitsubishi-electric and one for each window.
Just happens. I had to get new motors for the Grumman-one for each window. If you don’t find what you’re looking for I may be able to track down that company if you wish. Just shoot me a PM.

Hey y’all sorry for the delayed response!! Spent the last 3 days driving from Oregon back to Florida and haven’t had a chance to get caught up.
Dan I’d say you are correct in that this is not an original wiper assembly. From what I remember, they are in fact electric motors and not vacuum operated.
I will pop the access covers and see if I can locate a manufacturer and/or part number and post the results.
