What type of brake fluid is a good choice in the 54 3100. Was going to try and move the truck today just to check things and no brakes.. checked and no fluid in it.. sooo what to use.

Regular Dot-3 fluid should be fine.

You might want to look for the leak...brake fluid doesn't just evaporate into thin air.

Bleed the system from the farthest wheel cylinder away from the master cylinder to the nearest.

Have brakes now and will look for a leak.
Someone in the not to distant past redid the brakes. New master cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders, shoes and drums.
