I have access to a '36 pickup for parts and am wondering if the cabs are the same or if they are different, how different. I have a 36' 1.5 ton low cab. Is yours a high cab( early) or low cab (mid-late)? The early cab is like a 35'...Rick

The grill has horizontal bars rather than vertical. If the fenders are different I guess I'm wondering -how different? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | I'm not sure on the 30's trucks, but later, the shape of the front part of the fender and the size of the wheel opening was different between light trucks and big trucks, meaning the 1/2T fenders wouldn't have enough clearance for the bigger rim size on the 1.5T - I think the Maple Leafs were re-badged GMC's
