Just got the email from Scott Shifflett. He had a really nice re-count of the Show's history that you may enjoy:

Quote
19th Annual Tri-State Truck Show

Sometime during the Spring of 2005, Fred Craig, a bedbuggger who was enthusiastic about trucks envisioned starting a truck show in the Winchester Va. area. He shared his vision with fellow truckers. The group thought it was a great idea and went right to work on contacting sponsors and exhibitors. A show was born!

This year’s show dates are September 21-23, 2023 (Thursday through Saturday). It will take place at the beautiful Stonewall District Ruritan Club/Frederick Fair Grounds, nestled between Route 11 and Interstate 81. The show has constantly featured approximately 300 trucks on display.

Several events have become a tradition at the show:

· Flea Market
· Movie Thursday & Friday Night
· Friday night dinner by the Ruritans
· Breakfast/lunch options sold by local Ruritan organization
· Slow Race Friday at 1 p.m.
· 50/50 Drawing Friday & Saturday

Part of this tradition features our gate donations; all given to support local charities. To date, over $135,000 has been donated.

Four local chapters of the American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) come together each year to make this event a success. Enclosed is an event flyer.

Please register early; limited campsites are available. Flea-Market vendors are encouraged to sign up for a space and offer truck-related items for sale.

SPONSORS ARE NEEDED to help support this event. We welcome corporate and individual sponsors. Recognition of sponsors takes place throughout the three-day event.

Please pre-register for this event.

For questions, contact Scott Shifflett at 540-478-4389 / [email protected]

Mark September 21-23 on your calendar.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

The flyer with the registration is below.
