I purchased the Carter-Weber dual carb kit from Langdon several years ago for my 261 build and have been pretty happy with it, but I’ve got some carb issues now and so it’s time to pull them apart and so I might as well do a rebuild᠁

Has anyone rebuilt these carbs yet? Two different kits are listed for these carbs at my FLAPS. Langdon’s provided materials say that the carbs originally were off of a 1983 Ford Escort are referred to as a Motorcraft or Weber 32 DFT. At $390 a piece for a rebuilt carb, I’ll be wanting to do it myself.

Langdon is apparently not around anymore, so I cannot ask him. He was quite helpful back in the day᠁.

Looking for the right rebuild kit to order.

Any info is appreciated! Thank you.

I think he's still answering emails, if you want to ask Mr. Langdon.
info@langdonsstovebolt.com

I asked him something about an HEI distributor I have a few months back, and I think it took him a week or two to reply, so if you're wanting to get this sorted out quickly, maybe don't put all your eggs in that basket...

Are your throttle shafts parallel or 90 degrees to the crank axis?

Tom Langdon was kind enough to give me a call and leave a detailed voice mail. There are two versions of the carbs- the US and the California version. He said that the carbs in his conversion are the non-California carbs. I’ll probably just be ordering gaskets.
