| | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,839 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,839 | As suggested by some of you, I installed some Delco Remy D-105 points and OMG! it idles so much smoother. Still using the original condenser and am waiting for some Delco Remy dizzy cap and rotor cap to arrive and will install them soon. Set my points gap to a firm .020 (probably more like .019), but no mattah what, it idles so smoother. The old points had a hole right in the pad.
Again, thanks for the various suggestions in my recent points threads.
