The truck used to be a fire truck, and there is some reference to auxiliary pumps on it. Did all of the trucks of this era have a shift pattern plate on them?

I'll read the plate again, but I just guessed it was some kind of limited slip differential. There's no lock lever to turn it on and off like on tractors. | | |
