My daughter was talking about her tech class the other day. She is in 5th grade and they get exposed to a 3d printer. I suggested she try to make a shifter knob that looks like the OE but has the correct shift pattern on it.

This is what was done. Thought it was decent for a first try. I have always wanted a 3d printer. Now I really want one.

You can sand that knob smooth, paint it and then fill the characters with a contrasting paint, and nobody but us ‘bolters, would know the difference! Tell your daughter she did a great job!

I agree. I think she needs to get the numbers and letters the same size and fix the spacing a little and it will be a home run.
