A member here suffered a problem with the condenser...the capacitor separated from the brass piece (which should not happen). From this point forward a copper band (with its own specially applied adhesive) will be wrapped around the condenser and soldered in place to prevent this. A little more expense but this project wasn't done with profit in mind and I don't want anyone to have problems. Image attached and replacement on the way to the member. Sure, just let me know if you need one. It is a copper band with adhesive applied to the back of it. You simply remove the backing paper from the adhesive, wrap the band around the capacitor and solder at the end. Ideally it should fit under the wire that is grounded, although it may not. Just let me know.
