It may soften the primer if you're using it over that.
I agree that Prep All is what to use. It doesn't evaporate in the time it takes to wipe down a panel.

Bare steel cleaning prior to shooting sealer should be an etching cleaner.

It's suggested to use both water based and solvent based. Wipe it completely off. Paint companies also make a final wipe product. | | |
