I have a 41 AK 6 volt w/Lectro Lock ignition. There is a short in the armored cable at the firewall. Can it be fixed? If so, who has the secret?

ronsway,

Although I haven't ever worked on an Electrolock switch unit before, a little web searching came across these links to possibly relevant bits of info (a bunch of reading) that may help you fix your short.

* Although not specific to Chevy's, thought the general detailed testing and service info might be of some use.

Grab a cup of coffee, there is a good bit of reading in here.
