[b] I received this spotlight months ago & have had a hard time identifying it or were it was mounted? I guessed it would be from the late 1930s or 1940s. Mounted to the cowl & fender on a open cab firetrucks or other emergency vehicles., well supported with three support rods. There is no name on the light. The Lens say's McKeelite. What era & were did it mount & on what? Can some one help me???

Car chat means talks about Chevy's. All other car makers only build transportation.

You think it is that old? It's sure in nice condition. I am hoping to find a photo of one like it mounted on a truck?

Start looking at antique open cab fire trucks from the 20's and 30's...

Dietz was a big maker/supplier of that type of light...once closed cabs became common place the remote controlled spot lights made by Unity became standard equipment.

The lens said it is a McKeelite. I'm sure that is the light maker. But I don't have a model# so not much about the company shows up.
