I am putting disc brakes on the 1950. I have to drill the spindle to 1/2. Not a problem, but the steering arms are eating drill bits like candy. Any help would be great. You should be able to find a solid carbide bit on Ebay. A very short one would be best, as carbide is brittle, and breaks easily.
