The wrench taped to the paint stick? Yes sir! That tape held it and was strong enough for me to use a socket wrench on the anchor bolt to do the final tightening. Just twist that paint stick back and forth and pull down a bit and that tape will pull off of the fender washer just fine.

I only installed them in mine for my kids. I have a guardian angel to protect me. No idea if he will protect my kids or not, so I am planning ahead.

Ferris, If your guardian angel fails to protect you, it won't help the kids if you're gone. I'd recommend you wear your seat belt (and your life jacket if out on the water).

1962 C10 with a 235 6cyl -- all of the drive train seems to be original. Some of this story is in the Side Lot Some people like a new truck. I liked the old ones.
