All,
Thanks for the messages. I had a phone conversation with Hotrod Lincoln and shared some text messages with a few other Stovebolters following that post. After the phone conversation I determined the distributor was 180 degrees off and now the truck is firing and backfiring, but unfortunately won't catch. I believe the timing is still off I am going to work on it today and tomorrow and hopefully it get it running After getting the timing adjusted 180degrees it was spring break time and I was focused on enjoying a road trip with my kids and didn't get on the computer. I will post a follow-up this weekend after I am able to spend a few hours with the truck.

appreciate all of the advice and input, wouldn't be where I am with truck without this community

William -- the good news for you is that you are located in a veritable hotbed of Stovebolt activity. Some very knowledgeable, hands-on kinda guys in the Greater Philly/.Bucks county area. Hopefully, some of them may chime into this.

Stick your head into the Old Dominion Stovebolt Society forum (scroll down through our forums until you come to it wink ) and intro yourself. ODSS covers your part of PA.

Welcome aboard and I hope we can get you driving most ricky tic!

John
