From what I have read on-line, Fulton are Aluminum, Dieterich are steel. '49-52 Chevy visors were made by Dieterich for Chevy/GM. For all visors, the end brackets are unique to Truck or Car, so watch out for that when you get the end brackets. The best one to buy may be the one that you find available. They do not seem to be adjustable for width, some are too wide for our trucks.

Yes, Fulton is aluminum. They are not adjustable .
The Sun Shield & side "dog bone" brackets are aluminum. The mounts are stainless steel.

Both visors are adjustable for width.
There are holes in the center panel that holds the two outer panels together on the deitrich.
The fulton has two rods with holes that holds the panels together.
On both visors, select the holes that best fit your application

My Fulton was adjustable for width. Exactly as noted by modiol.
