I think it was a bargain, the body is in excellent condition. It has a good running 292 with a very clean engine compartment. The inside of the cab is a little dirty but looks like if you cleaned it up with soap and water it would really be sharp. Will have to deal with the brakes and exhaust first. Have done it all with my 53 3100 but nothing this big. You couldn't wipe the grin off my face with a shi**y mop.

Spoon, that is one beautiful truck! We had almost a carbon copy years ago when we had the meat plant. What a joy to drive; and the 2 speed just makes it that much more fun.

Thanks guys for the good reviews. I know for sure he wasn't blind, but he had got it several years ago from a relative and no longer had a use for it. He was in the process of moving and wanted to dispose of it fast with no hassle. I must have been the first in line cause when I made him an offer he said he had too many others inquiring about it to come down any. I didn't hesitate very long.. Must have been my lucky day. Still smiling, Spoon.

Good looking truck Spoon. If you decide to replace any of the tires and have a pair of 8.25 steer tires extra I might be interested.

The link has been pulled. Could you fill us in on what you got. It sounds interesting from what everyone is writing. Show us a picture! I usually check the St. Louis Craig's list daily but with the Cardinals and all....
