I finished making the 16 nitrous/fuel hard lines for the 6-71 going on my 292 in my 53 3100. I straightened SS brake line and polished it. I also made the distribution block mount and line clamp blocks. I think it came out surprising well for my first time. It's not as hard as it looks. Just one bend at a time. it was a little challenging around the linkage and I did screw up a couple.
That's an incredible amount of very nice detailed bending work.
Totally professional look IMHO.
That is going to be one mind-blowing set-up. HiPo to the nth degree.
Thanks for sharing!

This might be a little long but I'll try to keep it short. In 1980 when I got out of the Navy in SoCal I bought my 53 3100 for a work truck (carpenter). My 292, billet crank, billet solid roller cam, billet steel rods all by Crower. Mains dowelled and girdled. Ryan Falconer V-12 head. 5 stage dry sump. Electromotive TECs 200 direct fire coil over EMS. Weiand 6-71 with 2 Quick Fuel 650 DP. NOS. McLeod duel disk clutch, billet flywheel and McLeod hydraulic throw out bearing. Custom built Tremec TKO 600. Custom built Frankland Quick Change rear end, Bicknell torque arm, Gleason Torsen diff. Wilwood 12.88" ultra light disk 6 piston front 4 piston rear, line lock, vacuum pump. Super Bell custom front 4" drop straight axle made to fly, . Mechanical water pump, aluminum front radiator with electric fan and a secondary hortazontal mount Ron Davis drag radiator between the rails with electric pump primarily for heat sink after shutdown. 1.5 steering quickener. Electric P/S by EPAS Performance and electric A/C with remote condenser and fan by RenCool. Armored front glass and acoustic glass around. Mechman 250 amp alt. (180 at idle). I'm building it for 1300 HP but it will never see over a thousand, allegedly. As Mike Kirby once told me "the magic is in the head the rest is just trying to keep the crankshaft in the building". Thank you for your time. P.S. that's real patina I'm sanding off to make it pretty.
I knew you were adding the Blower and Dual carbs, I didn't know you were planning on adding Nitrous. How large a shot are you thinking, will it be staged or progressive? ,
Have you worked out the push rod geometry yet?

Probably 200. I don't like the hard hit. That's why I like blowers. Maybe ramp it in at 3000 or 3500. I have a lot of brains to pick about that. I'm no expert. I stand on the shoulders of giants like Mike Kirby Walt Pierce and Leo Santucci. They have helped me a lot. RIP Walt.

Sorry I missed the push rod question. I talked to Smith Brothers Push Rods and Crower. I don't have the exact angle yet but it appears that an offset push rod will be fine. At the most an offset lifter also. Then I can put the Crower solid roller lifters that I have with all the other parts I'm no longer useing like my iron race head and 4-71 with 3 dueces.
