Here’s a few pics from the rebuilding of the door hinges for my 53, super easy job when 3 of the 4 hinge pins release with a little tap!! Not sure if 2 days of Kroil has anything to do with it but man I love that stuff!! I wish there was a Kroil scented air freshener!!!

I wasn't as lucky, 1 pin came out okay, 2 pins came out after heating the hinge area, the final one ended up being cut above and below the arm to get it seperated from the bracket then a combination of drilling, heating, and pounding finally got it out. The good news was after drilling oversize for the rebuild kit larger pins everything went together well and they seem pretty good, only enough clearance for easy rotation. However, I have not mounted the doors yet so my perceptions may change when the heavy door is hanging on them.
