Well, these stickers aren't going to work for our needs. After just one week in the sun, the color is fading and just not up to automotive quality. The kind we need run in the neighborhood of $800 which is a big difference from the $150 or so I was looking at. I am going to continue to seek printing prices we can handle, but for now I have to pause the project. Sorry for getting you guys ready and not having something to wait for... frown ...but these aren't good enough for y'all. If I come up with a good solution, I'll be back with a post! Tomcoe.

If the originals were decals, you could do a laquer silk-screen decal rather than a printed sticker.

I might look into that although on a roughly 6 x 3 sticker the screen would have to be very fine. I'll check into it tho...again sorry guys! T

Tomcoe,

Got a guy up here who does computer cut vinyl signs...all very high tech. He said his stuff is meant to be outside and is fade resistant, he's willing to take a look at the decal. If you send me a good copy, I'll show it to him and see what he says. If he's interested, I'll connect you guys.

Not sure Im understanding this. The one i need is black and white not colored. Any good sign shop can print these, fairly cheaply, if they have a good copy to span into there computer. I get tractor decals sets made this way all the time.

Hi Guys,

My time on the Bolt has been vapors. I am really swamped at the moment.

Pete, feel free to give your guy our info, [email protected] , and I will get some samples from him.

Iowa, not sure what to compare what you have printed in the past, but 1000 of these babys in decal format, with UV at the size we need runs in the neighborhood of 6-8 hundred and I'm looking for less expensive resources currently. The artwork we are looking at printing is color, from what Spanky says is the 47-50 version (I think) I am looking online for other sources and requesting samples. I was excited about helping the crowd when it was going to cost me 170 or so. 700 is a little crazy, but at the same time, I have time in the artwork so I don't really want to send it out in "net land" if I can find reasonable printing and continue with the project. Design and pringing is what we do for a living, so I am on it, and more so when I can catch my breath regarding our workload.

I will be back when I can. smile

Tomcoe

I do not expect you to foot the bill for me. I appreciate what you are trying to accomplish but breaking the bank or your budget isn't a good idea!
