The unit under the dash . Anyone done it? Any tips or tricks? Any pitfalls to be aware of?

Another thing you might find useful is this Tech Tip written by member "Kip Bonds" (Kip's41) posted back in 2007 Windshield Crank RebuildAm sure that others will come along and add their experience and knowledge to help you with your task. Maybe you can post more about your progress (with some please) as it could prove helpful to the next 'Bolter needing to do this repair too. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Dan

It will help to do some stretching exercises though, before you climb under there though. If you plan on doing much more work under the dash, a padded plywood plank that rests on the floor board on one end and a supported leg(s) on the outside end will greatly ease the pain. The downside to this, if it’s to comfortable, is a short nap could result.🤫 | | | | | Joined: Mar 2023 Posts: 120 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2023 Posts: 120 | I’m so glad to read this. I have my regulator out now and it is need of a bushing just as described by the one Kip Bonds did. I now have much more confidence. I think I’ll make a steel bushing however so it may last a bit longer.
