Hi! I am helping a friend restore his longtime 54 3100. The catch is l’m a lifelong Ford man. I have an unrestored 69 Mach 1 in amazing condition and a 64-1/2 Mustang Coupe that I just finished a rotisserie restoration. This truck was pretty rough and is a total nut and bolt restoration and my first walk into Chevy Country. The work is what is important, brand is second to the work.

Once again Welcome to the 'Bolt! (We already had our 1st welcome conversation over in the Swap Meet )
Glad you decided to post in here and the in-progress work looks great.
Ask you buddy about the back story on the vegetation. Inquiring minds want to know.

Yep.. I am a Ford guy too, but am doing a 66 c10. I am amazed you trust those horses to hold that much weight. I do all sorts of risky things, but would not have put my frame on my similar horses.

Good philosophy.
Welcome to Stovebolt.

So that's what the color is. My 55.1 is exact same color (without the green foliage). But the frame doesn't look anywhere near that good. Welcome!
