I might be confusing your truck with another similar post from several months back. If it's the same post, I thought it was determined that the entire bed and fenders were from another truck - probably not a Chevy.

@46 Chevy truck. What Otto said. I'm not real familiar with the 46 beds, but I see on your pic, that your bed has tab sticking out each side for the tailgate chain hooks. I know on AD (47-55) trucks, the holes for the hooks are forward of the rear edge of the bedside. What are the overall inside dimensions on your bed? A 46 Chevy bed would be 48.5" inside width and 78" inside length (front panel to tailgate.)

The bed on my ‘37 Chevy 1/2 ton was replaced by a previous owner. It has six boards each 3/4” thick and 76 inches long. Four boards in the midle measure 7 7/16” wide. Each board on the outsides measure 7 3/4” wide. A photo is attached.
