If I’ve researched correctly, this is a direct fit R&R. Is that correct? Any changes needed or are they an exact swap?

I don't know if the floor hole is in the same location, but that would be an easy fix... Base was the std 3sd with synchronized 2nd and 3rd gear. The optional transmission was the heavy duty 4spd with non-synchro on any gear. Straight cut gears with no synchros, not even on 4th gear.

The four speed is wider than the three speed, so the mount wont quite reach the new transmission.
You can simply put shim washers between the mount and the transmission, or find a three speed mount.

Are you talking about the yoke that attaches to the universal joint? Not sure what you mean by tiles? And yes, the universal joint yokes.

One last question…..is the “bell” that seals the torque tube to the transmission the same for both 3spd and 4spd…..or will I need to replace it too?
