Started stripping the 47 down and i noticed it has a PTO on it.What i can't figure out is on the shifter is a metal finger connected to a rod that runs down the shifter into the tranny. Anyone have any idea.

a 4speed has a reverse release or 'lock out' - pull the finger and it allows the shifter to be moved into reverse - nothing to do w/ the pto
