So getting ready to replace my water pump, should you use sealant between block and gasket? 216 motor. Thanks

I use Permatex Super 300. It's a black brush-on liquid that was originally made for use around aviation gasoline. It's a much better sealant than the light brown 3-H Permatex liquid. Lots of listings on Ebay.
