Anyone have any information on that?

As you said, they used V shaped instrument clusters like the Chevys had. They had really ugly (cheap) grilles and the '58 models had two headlights even though there was space for four. '52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.

Would anyone be willing to pay a premium for a truck like that? In other words, all things being equal, would a completely restored Fleet Option truck fetch more money than a restored, fully optioned Task Force ? I doubt it. Who'd want it?

I'd take a low mileage , no rust, repairable ,"barn find" ! If you were find one of those fleet trucks as a low mileage barn find, it would truly be rare. Fleet trucks were rode hard and put away wet. I know. I have an AD truck that was a fleet truck originally owned by the Alaska Road Commission and was worked on road projects. It was complete but ROUGH when it came to me. Definite signs of abuse by non-owner drivers.
