The old brake lines were completely rotten. Is there anywhere that sells the correct lines in a kit? I see lots of options for 1/2, and some for 3:4 but haven’t seen anything for the one ton. I also think there may be differences in line routing for a ‘53 3800. Mine has a fitting on the back of the of the master cylinder, and the bolt that holds the fitting on is also drilled and tapped so that two lines can be attached to the back of the master cylinder. One line goes to left front, the other line crosses the frame and goes to a frame mounted tee, which feeds the right front and the back. I need this fitting and bolt (the one on the master cylinder, my frame mounted tee is good, and I see those are available) as well, but haven’t seen them for sale. Any ideas where to get the fitting and bolt and new lines? I can make them if needed, but would prefer a premade stainless set if there was something close available. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,995 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,995 | Check with "Inline Tube, Inc.", they could custom make a kit. Take the tee fittings to Napa and see what they have to match.

Maybe someone who has actually replaced their brake lines on a 3/4 or 1-ton can firm this?

All 1/4" lines. They fit well, but as expected the line to the rear was about 10" short. I got a female coupling, and a premade 10" ss brake line and everything went together and fit pretty good. | | |
