So I went to fill up my 51 ,216 and antifreeze was leaking out of he water pump where the fan connects, never seen that before? New pump? Or rebuild kit?

Luray Would just get a new pump,if you kit your old one using the service book watch out for reversed pictures in the book. Bought a new knock-off pump not sure if it's really a very good pump. Think I would go to Carters.

Or send it off to one of the rebuilders.

If you go the rebuild route I've used Flying Dutchman for all my water pumps for the past 20 years and never had a failure, he machines the old housing to take modern seals.

I bought one from Classic Parts two years ago and no leaks so far (knocking on wood as I type). Here is a [LINK]. This one is for 5/8” fan belts. They also sell one for 3/8”.
