I am sure some of the fenders are from another country, or are the higher priced fenders made in the US? If so are the US parts any better. As for the lower priced fenders, by the time I buy a corner patch piece, and install it. The lower price fenders seam like a bargain. Any thoughts? Us eastcoasters are very envious of the opportunity that comes from the west coast. Yes, if you buy a piece of sheetmetal that needs work and you have to hire that work out, you will be left with a fender that is 2x the cost of the aftermarket stuff. Aftermarket stuff works, but it is what it is - overseas. Choice you have to make. For me, I like to use the old stuff if I can find it and pay the difference making repairs/getting repairs. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 | I got new ones from Brothers Truck. Thankfully I only needed the 2 rear and both running boards.

I haven't found one 62-66 truck of any kind. Slim pickings. I found one in the Los Angeles area. Kind of a long way for me to drive, just to see a possible part , that may not be much better than mine. I am comfortable doing body work, I thought a new fender will be much quicker. I am not in a hurry. I will just keep looking for that pick of the litter truck. Had one issue with some bad stamping, but that was with the A/B pillars. They immediately sent me new stuff. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2021 Posts: 6,936 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2021 Posts: 6,936 | LMC has great customer service in my experience.
