Anyone who resides or will be in the lower mainland this weekend, the BC Pioneer Truck Society meeting is this Sunday, NOVEMBER 27TH. This will be our Christmas meeting. It will be held at Mike & Lil Breed’s. 19759 — 28th Avenue, Langley, B. C. V2Z 1Y1 starting at 11:30 am. The meeting takes place in the building behind the house, you will see cars parked there. There will be food after the meeting, but no obligation to bring a dish.

After the meeting we are going to have a pot luck lunch. As there is no stove available and only a small fridge please consider this when bringing your food. I’m sure we can work around this.

Come on out and visit even if you aren't a member, you just might want to join up. Dues are only $20 a year for a family membership.

Today is the day. It starts in just under two hours. I'm bringing homemade butter tarts and I just pulled the cheese buns out of the oven! Come on down!

We got back into our full meetings, first one since covid. We elected some members as executive members, (and lost one to health and personal reasons, there is an opening) got through our old and new business, had a 50/50 draw, and draws for various prizes. I happened to win a nice book on the history of trucking in BC! After that we had a great pot luck lunch. We tend to go a member of a Model A club and we use the building that club meets in. Personally, I like this location a lot better than the old one. A lot of our members cross over to the BC Vintage Truck Museum in Cloverdale BC that has a lot of restored vehicles. There is a Parade this weekend in Cloverdale and one of the requirements is that all vehicles must have Christmas lights.
