Only a dusting here in lower southeast part of the state. I was at our lake house 225 mile north and we had 6 - 8 inches of wet heavy stuff. I-75 freeway was not good coming home Wednesday night.

Pulled the leather upholstery out so the rodents don't destroy it. I guess we have to face the facts. Winter has arrived here in mid-Michigan....again. | | | | Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,185 Moderator | Moderator Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 4,185 | The Niagara area is forecast to get up to 4 feet of snow, I heard they have 2 feet already. I am on the wet coast presently, no snow here but we have about 6 inches at home. | | | | Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 206 Moderator, Great Lakes Bolters | Moderator, Great Lakes Bolters Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 206 | Only a dusting of snow here in the Greater Detroit area, but unfortunately the cold has definitely arrived. Work in the unheated/uninsulated garage is pretty slow in low 20 degree temps.

Didn't cause us much trouble. not salt much out here in the wilderness. Aim to drive my '51 6400 all winter if roads are fit for it. Attended a nice fall closer at Oilfield Store on 11-5. got up at 5 am, raining. let up by 8 am. had rain x on, so struck out for Oilfield. 64 mile round trip. Powerful south wind but never turned the wipers on. buscuits and gravy at 9 am. burger at noonish. one other actual Bolter there. Regular bunch of rodders. good visit with them. they mostly ail about like me !! Was able to run almost 60 MPH on good country roads up. return was kind of a headwind but fine. | | | | Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,841 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,841 | Zero degrees here this morning with drifting snow, forcast for next Saturday is 52 degrees.
