Hy Guys and Gals, my name is Bobb, I have a fairly large collection of trucks from the late thirties to 1960. Most of my trucks are 1 1/2 ton and larger. If anyone has an interest, come on out and have a look, I'm in Rosedale. I also have engines and running gear from the period. I am also willing to sell parts. I even have papers on some of them. I want to try and see these trucks go to someone who will preserve them, rather than go to scrappers when I have an auction. Regards Bobb

Hi Bobb,

Are you getting out of the hobby or just reducing the amount of stuff you have?

If/when you decide to sell, don't forget the swap meet forum here. The swap meet gets a lot more views than the BC Bolters forum.

Hy Gord, I am a lot closer to the end than the beginning, I have never advertised what I have and I realize that they are not everybody's cup of tea, but I have saved them inside for as long as I have had them. The guys I have asked to be my executors seem to be overwhelmed, so I thought I would give locals the chance first.

Or the family.

One thing I thought was kinda fun as we thinned our "heard," we had a chance to participate in who got what. Most of it went to friends. thumbs_up Most were interested in the history of the equipment.

If you want to try one or two in the Swap Meet, like Gord said, you may find some of your stuff still stays in the "Stovebolt family," too.
